Position: Project Coordinator/ Project Estimator
Responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of a General Manager (GM) & Project Director for our Projects in Iraq.
I have traveled more than 12 times to Iraq for managing our Two running projects which I already worked for their full Estimation till the award.
The two projects in Iraq are:
1. Shat Al Arab 3 Residential Complex Project, consisting of 49 buildings with all services facilities (Entertainment, schools, medical, Market, Mall, Mosque…) (Contract Value is 743, 775, 000 QAR)
2. Hamza-Ghamas 40 km Highway. (Contract Value is 111, 691, 815 QAR)
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
• Prepare project organization and communication charts
• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades
• Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
• Issue Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
• Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval
Position: Project Cost Estimator (in Head Office)
Estimation of various type of infrastructure works : Roads, infrastructure utilities, ASHAGHAL and KAHRAMA Tenders (water, sewerage, pumping stations, electric transmission, Buildings and structures..)
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.
• Study all the tender documents and search out all the discrepancies between boq, specs and drawings so to draft and raise the queries to the tender consultant.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Preparation of Clause 14 Baseline Program for project at the tendering stage as per the scope of work using Primavera 6.
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
• Preparation of technical submittals.
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity.

Position: Planner & Quantity Surveyor
• Achieving all works related to cost control and monthly payment reports.
• Performing all productivity report in order to monitor the project progress.
• Updating the project schedule and resources.

Position: STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.
• Build envelop repair and maintenance projects.
• Cathodic protection and engineered solutions for corrosion of reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Strengthening of structures through advanced techniques with fiber reinforced polymers (FRP)

Position: Estimator.
• Establish and maintain tendering process, and conduct negotiations.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor
• Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability
• Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.

Position: DESIGN ENGINEER.
• Achieving all works related to Conceptual Design.
• Analyzing and checking structures according to specified code.
• Modeling structure using Robot structural analysis.
• Designing and analyzing structural elements using many of structural design softwares.
• Drafting, shop drawings, BOQs, framing and reinforcement drawings using AutoCAD.

Position: Site Inspector
• Monitors the construction work and work site to ensure compliance with applicable plans, specifications, standards, codes, regulations and requirements.
• Monitors the construction work and construction site for compliance with safety standards.
• Provide technical, full-time, on-site inspection of the progress and quality of the construction work performed.

• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management;
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
• Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect;
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
