JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 Leading the commissioning activities to ensure quality and timely delivery.
 Improving effectiveness of work plans in collaboration with other functions.
 Developing, coaching and providing technical guidance to colleagues in the assigned projects.
 Conducting site training activities of Substation Automation Systems for the client.
 Ensuring implementation design changes according to the project documentation.
 Providing proactive coordination with the project managers related to costs, resources, time schedules and risk quantifications.
 Performing HMI (MICROSCADA) and Database (IET600) engineering.
 Ensuring the proper functionality of the SAS system devices in accordance with the specifications and the scope.
 Integrating ABB and third party vendors IEDs with ABB SAS system.
 Testing and commissioning for ABB Microscada, RTU, IEDs, switches and routers configuration in accordance IEC61850 global standard.
 Carrying out signal verification up to SAS system and SCADA control center for IEC-101 and IEC-104 Protocols (IEC 60870-5).
 Developing the bay level interlock using GOOSE for all bus arrangement in Bay Control Unit (BCU).
 Conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) according to approved test form and plan.
 Conducting Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and hand over the systems and devices to the customer.
 Following up the test schedules and coordinating with the main contractor, consultants and client
 Supervising of safety regulations on site as per Occupational Health & Safety instruction & policy.

 Leading commissioning for seven new 132/13.8kV substations.

 Leading re-commissioning for three energized 132/13.8kV substations.

 Contributing in commissioning for two new 380/132/13.8kV substations.

 Leading factory testing acceptance for four new 132/13.8kV substations.

 Contributing in factory testing acceptance four new 132/13.8kV substations.
- JUBIAL-6 SS, AL-MURJAN SS, JIZAN City SS and KHAMIS South SS
 Contributing in closing-out the open points for the energized substations.

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PLCs and SCADA issues.
•Examining requirements of new automation systems, implementing, architecting creative solutions to accomplish client’s goals.
•Doing site surveys and preparing reports for the technical manager.
•Preparing control system IO’s list and programming.
•Devising technical solutions, tenders studies and documentation.
•Providing pre-and-after sales technical assistance.
•Rendering training and support to other members in the team.
•Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client’s needs.
