After working as CEO for many years my primary responsibility now is for planing and business development. In addition to overseeing quality management and performance improvement.

I was assigned to create a new department responsible for development and management of sources of self financing to reduce the dependence on the government budget in operating the medical city, and ensure a secured future financing streams. This will be achieved by capitalizing on the existing physical, and human resources to develop business ventures.
The accounting and management systems will be restructured in accordance with business principles that will promote efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of service to eligible population and to private payers.
As a main source of financing the city the department will develop and manage donations and philanthropies.

As director of Planning and Development for the young 3yr old 1100 bed medical city I was responsible to establish KFMC as a stratigically foucused organization. We established the corporate strategic plan and the plans for all 8 hospitals and centers in the city.
Build a performance managment system based on a well defined Enterprise Architicure and Process Modeling. This resulted in creating Corporate Information Resource Center to provide performance information for the entire organization.
Planning is also responsible for quality managment. We developed and actioned the quality managment organization and system including risk managment, performance improvement, and utalization managment. The quality managment is also responsible for accrediation.

Created and managed the company specialized in Managed Health Care insurance programs. In 3 years the company became a major player in the medical insurance market in Saudi Arabia with over 30 employees and 3 offices in the major cities.
The company and its client portfolio was successfully sold to a newly licensed insurance company to create its medical insurance division.

Established Management Engineering Department. Participated in many feasability and organizational projects.
