categories, to prepare the data for the new Green Agri-food Transformation for Economic Recovery (GATE) Project.

• Acted as the main point of contact between Kafalat, the World Banks B5 Fund, beneficiary businesses, and partner
microfinance institutions (MFIs).
• Worked closely with partner MFIs — Al Majmoua, Vitas, Ibdaa, and AEP — to share information, verify beneficiary
details, and track grant progress.
• Visited businesses affected by the Beirut Port explosion to assess damage, confirm eligibility, and understand recovery
needs.
• Guided applicants and partner organizations through grant requirements and paperwork, following the Project
Operations Manual.
• Reviewed legal, financial, and business documents to ensure they met World Bank and Kafalat requirements.
• Assessed business operations, ownership, and financial health to support grant decisions.
• Wrote clear field assessment reports with findings and recommendations for each grant.
• Partnered with the Environmental and Social Officer to screen projects and meet World Bank safeguard standards.
• Stayed in regular contact with beneficiaries and MFIs, solving problems and offering guidance throughout the grant
process.
• Carried out post-approval site visits to confirm work was completed as planned.
• Reviewed invoices, quotations, and procurement records to confirm grant funds were spent correctly.
• Collected field evidence — photos, videos, GPS data(google maps location), and interviews — to support monitoring
and reporting.
