Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to
another.
 Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate
deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
 Receives products and coordinates delivery.
 Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
 Prepares loads for shipment.
 Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed
orders etc.
 Takes steps to avoid quality control issues.
 Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
 Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and
transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are
met.
 Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles.
 Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates,
and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down
where possible.
 Streamlines shipping and transportation processes.

Demonstrate ethical standards of behavior create an
atmosphere in which diversity is accepted and all
employees are treated fairly and consistently.
 Ensure that employees understand what is expected of
them and explain to them how to carry out their duties.
 Maintaining health and safety standards
 Takes steps to avoid quality control issues.
 Recognize good performance, address inadequate
performance, and take corrective action when necessary.
 Remain current on Institute policies, procedures and news
in order to inform and update employees

 Lead, train, and assure team is scheduling and coordinating
shipments.
 Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is
serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is
kept at all times
 Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before
dispatching orders
 Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out
given tasks
 Work with Customer Service to assure orders are shipped
timely and according to company and/or customer
requirements.
 Optimize freight carriers to obtain lowest cost possible.
 Handle International and Domestic shipment and assuring
all procedures.
 Documentation abide by shipping & regulatory
requirements.
 Organizing the dispatch and delivery of goods.
 Ensuring goods are stored safely and Keeping staff fully
trained
 Maintaining health and safety standards
 Keeping accurate records and Managing timesheets
