Jabal Al Shifa Development Company, JSDC, aims to develop three villages between Al Shafa and Al Hada in Taif within (Makkah Region) with a proposed scenic route to link them. The project targets to create a destination of preserved natural beauty, unique mountainous scenery, and a pleasant weather offering outstanding wellness experiences, and a range of outdoor sports and activities. The three villages have a combined land area of 17.9M sq-m. The project is expected to serve numerous Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives. Additionally, the Project is expected to contribute to the economic diversification and create benefit for the tourism sector in the Taif region, by developing the area in alignment with the city’s tourism development plans, provide investment opportunities for the private sector, and create career opportunities for the local population.
I worked on developing integrated master time schedule in line with the overall procurement strategy and critical completion dates for the Concept Masterplan of Wadi Afar touristic village owned by Jabal Al Shifa Development Company.
Oversee and manage the masterplan and ensure the program includes:

- Requirements for temporary works, utilities, and /or services

Jabir Abu-Aliz Diabetic Centre
About the project:
Jabir Abu-Aliz Diabetic Centre comprise the followings:
In-patient & Out-Patient Clinics.
Diabetes Support Unit.
Eye Care Unit.
Diabetic Foot Care.
Medical Labs and other medical facilities.
Responsibilities:
Planning, scheduling & re-scheduling of critical and inter-related tasks with the use of primavera.
Take necessary steps to get schedule on track when slipping occurs.
Cost & quality control.
Coordinate and liaise with the project’s stakeholders.
Ensure that necessary coordination work is carried out properly to avoid waste of resources or poor quality.
Arrange coordination meetings, record comprehensive meeting minutes and monitored entire project documentations
Follow and control producing utilities shop drawings.
Planning, scheduling & re-scheduling of critical and inter-related tasks with the use of primavera.
Prepare quality management plan.
Coordinate and liaise with the project’s stakeholders.

Under the United Nations Development Program, UNDP, a program titled “Institutional strengthening and capacity building for the good governance in Tobago” and I was attached to the Division of Infrastructure & Public Utilities, DIPU.
There are many roads projects under the supervision of the DIPU.
i. Studley Park Quarry Re-development.
About the project:
The project deemed strategic project to the island of Tobago. Studley Park Quarry was the major quarry in the island and it went under a comprehensive development plan to increase its capacity and scale of production. The main elements of the substantial investment (in excess of US$ 14 million) were a Crushing Plant with the associated equipment of drilling rig, excavators, dump trucks, front end loader, weighbridge, telescopic-handler and transformer and generator.
Responsibilities:-
Identify the project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets to determine the staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project through the project measurement system.
Coordinate with the contractor concerning schedule, sequence of work, and best methods for construction.
Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily, weekly, monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project.
Ensure that project controls documents such as resources histogram, schedules, reporting systems, material controls systems, etc., are fully developed.
Coordinates with the contractors on utilities issues.
Arrange coordination meetings, record comprehensive meeting minutes and monitor entire project documentations.
Provide coordination of construction and special projects as they pertain to the utilities companies.
Reviewing plans and preparing cost estimates.
Planning & scheduling and prepare progress reports.

ii. UWI University Campus Project
About the project:
The building project has three main components:
Administration building.
Labs
Class rooms
Toilets including disabled toilets.
Activity Yard.
Responsibilities:-
Utilities coordination.
Projects coordination.
Planning and scheduling.
iii. Scarborough Regional Hospital Project, Signal Hill.
About the project:
The project comprise construction of the 100 plus bed, general acute care facility. The Campus is an open pavilion and multiple wards style layout and it is meant to serve as the major general hospital of Tobago island.
Responsibilities:-
Provide technical support as part of design team under supervision of the chief civil engineer of the DIPU.
Act as focal point of contact for the project with the client and contractors
Review and approve contractor’s payment certificate.
iv. Rehabilitation of Tobago Library.
About the project:
The project is aimed, mainly, to rehabilitate The Tobago Library, which was hardly hit by an earthquake in 1997.
Responsibilities:-
Planning and scheduling.
Preparing BOQs.
Representing the ministry as senior civil engineer.
Ensure that the construction work is being carried out as per contract, standards, and specs.
Representing the ministry in the progress following-up meetings.
Support the contractor with engineering opinions and advices in making decisions on constructability problems.
v. Coastal protection and remedy of areas affected by landslide.
About the project:
The Tobago Island has so many areas of high and severe susceptibility to coastal erosion and landslides. The DIPU put up projects to protect the community and properties erosion and landslides.
Responsibilities:-
Supervise construction of different types of retaining walls to protect roads on cliff areas.
Design and supervise construction of sea walls.
Treatment of landslide coastal area by soil revetment & construction of gabion basket walls.

Project:- Building two buildings (8 story each-residential)

It is a turnkey project for two story buildings.

Corinthia Five Star Hotel and Commercial Centre (Previously called Burj Al-Fatih)
About the project:
The hotel and commercial centre was a spectacular project at a cost of over 80 million Euro. It is a five-star hotel in central Khartoum with an oval curved facade and has 18 guest floors, 173 rooms and 57 suites, all offering panoramic views. The hotel has six restaurants and cafes and leisure facilities including spa, gym, tennis and squash courts.
Responsibilities
Projects coordination.
Attend projects & schedule review meetings.
Supervise construction work of the commercial centre.

Burri Electrical Distribution Substation
About the project:
The project is to construct electricity distribution substation with the following features:
Two transformers’ room.
Two Auxiliary transformers room
Switch & control room
Cable trenches.
Responsibilities
Supervise construction of electrical substation elements including isolated transformers’ room, auxiliary transformers’ room, and cable trenches.
Ensure that the structural works are being done in coordination with MEP requirements.
Issue and follow all material requisitions required at site.
Prepare monthly reports.
