Leads and manages all technical and engineering-related functions in support of project execution
and operational success. They ensure technical documentation, designs, material, and methodologies
meet industry standards and client / projects requirements.
 Technical Oversight
 Supervise all technical offices’ activities for all disciplines, including drawings, specifications,
material submittals, and method statements.
 Ensure that technical solutions comply with project requirements, codes, and regulations.
 Team Leadership
 Manage a team of technical office managers/ senior managers, technical engineers in head office
and different sites, material engineers, draftsmen, planners, and document controllers.
(subordinates: 80 engineers in different disciplines).
 Delegate tasks, provide mentorship, and ensure professional development within the team.
 Project Coordination
 Coordinate with project directors / managers, site managers, and consultants to align technical
documentation with on-site execution.
 Support project teams in resolving technical issues during construction.
 Coordinate with supply chain director to ensure that all material procurement and delivery to the
sites are matching with technical and schedules requirements.
 Review and Approval
 Review and approve shop drawings, as-built drawings, technical submittals, and material
approvals.
 Ensure timely submission and approval of documents by clients or consultants.
 Quality Assurance
 Enforce quality control processes for design deliverables and documentation.
 Implement and maintain technical standards and best practices.
 Cost and Time Optimization
 Support value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising quality.
 Assist in project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines efficiently.
 Communication and Reporting
 Act as a technical liaison between the client, consultants, and the internal team.
 Provide regular updates and technical reports to the top management.
 Regulatory Compliance
 Ensure all designs and documents meet local regulations and international standards.
 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant codes, laws, and engineering practices.
 BIM and Digital Tools Management
 Oversee implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
 Ensure the use of appropriate software tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, etc.) across the team.
