Senior - Financial Accounting and Advisory Services
- Worked on IFRS and IPSAS Conversion, and Implementation projects across different countries in the MENA region (Including Lebanon, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait) within the following industries: Banking and Financial Services, Governmental, Petrochemical, Water and Electricity, Online Commerce, Real Estate, Commercial Entities- among others.
- Worked on Gap Assessment and Implementation of specific Standards as separate engagements (each of IFRS 9, 15, and 16)
- Worked on Cash to Accrual and Preparation of First Time Adoption of IFRS Opening Balances for a cross-border giga-project: “Project NEOM” - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within a joint-collaboration engagement including different teams from EY (Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Advisory, and FAAS) to achieve the engagement objectives within a tight deadline set by the client, prior to the commencement of a statutory audit mission. Lead onsite and offsite teams of 3-8 individuals throughout the length of the project
- Worked on Fixed Assets Projects (Fixed Assets Tagging, Valuation, and Oversight, in collaboration with other multinational professional service firms) to build the Fixed Asset Register necessary to establish the First Time Adoption of IFRS Opening Balances and Financial Statements
- Prepared Accounting and Operational Policies and Procedures with areas of emphasis revolving around Operations, Accounting, Management, HR, IT, Procurement and Outsourcing
- Prepared special accounting topics memorandums and collaborated with EY SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to establish proper accounting treatments when faced with complex circumstances
- Knowledge in IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and IPSAS
- Knowledge and understanding in different industries: Banking, Governmental, Insurance, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, among others
- In charge of different teams from different offices (Lebanon, KSA, Jordan, Dubai, India), with direct reporting to Directors and Partners
- Participated in Business Development, such as proposals and budgeting activities
- Mentored Associates and interns and provided on-job coaching and support

Senior Auditor
- Engaged in applying financial statements audit methodologies in accordance with (ISA) International Standards on Auditing
- Performed financial statement audit on a diverse portfolio of industries, such as Banking and Financial Services, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Construction, Commercial entities, Non-profit organizations, and Public Sector.
- Conducted Audit Engagements within Joint-Audit engagements with other International Professional Service Firms
- Conducted internal control walkthroughs, and issued management letters for the weaknesses and findings uncovered thereof
- Applied compliance audit with statutory requirements such as: Anti-money Laundry, Internal Controls, and Solvency Requirements (BDL Circulars)
- Conducted Inventory counts and observations
- Led small teams, and provided coaching and onsite support and monitoring

I completed a 2-week intensive training at Allianz-SNA in Sales and Marketing. While this internship is not directly related to my domain of study, it certainly adds value with respect to experience and exposure to a diverse and rich experience in the different domain in business.

I learned about the different types of insurance policies provided, along with the conditions and bylaws of inception of a prospective client. I also have had an introductory training in financial consultancy, as to how to advice client regarding the financial management of their investment funds held in accordance of their insurance policy at Allianz-SNA.

I Worked for two months as a full-time intern in accounting at PAMG. During my Internship, I learned and practiced all accounting concepts and practices, such as journal entries, Financial Statements preparation, bank reconciliation, NSSF and Salaries forms, TVA forms and so on...
My two months experience on a full-time basis was enough to deliver enough exposure and training on all basic accounting practices and requirements, where i have worked on many different clients in diverse industries.
