As a Civil Engineer with the Yemen Red Crescent Society, I dedicated my technical expertise and field experience to supporting humanitarian initiatives and improving essential infrastructure amidst challenging conditions. My work primarily focused on designing, supervising, and implementing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) projects, as well as developing infrastructure for vulnerable communities and displaced populations.
​My responsibilities included providing on-site technical supervision for the construction and rehabilitation of water networks, alongside equipping groundwater wells with modern, sustainable solutions such as solar-powered pumping systems. I was actively involved in enhancing the operational efficiency of community facilities, preparing engineering drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates, while rigorously monitoring construction quality to comply with international and local humanitarian standards.
​Beyond core engineering tasks, my role required close coordination with local authorities, international partners, and target communities to deliver sustainable water resource management solutions that reduce disease outbreaks. This experience strengthened my ability to manage complex projects under pressure, adapt to crisis environments, and translate structural engineering into tangible humanitarian impact.

Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) serves as an essential mechanism for ensuring accountability, transparency, operational efficiency, and quality assurance in humanitarian, infrastructure, and international development programs. Operating in complex, high-risk, or geographically restricted environments—where donor agencies and primary implementing organizations face access constraints—TPM provides independent, empirical, and unbiased data to verify program performance. My professional career within Third-Party Monitoring spans a comprehensive, dual-track methodology that seamlessly integrates Remote Call Center Operations with On-Site Field Monitoring & Coordination. This unified background combines quantitative remote data collection, phone-based verification, and post-distribution monitoring (PDM) with direct, hands-on field inspections, stakeholder coordination, and technical civil/WASH infrastructure evaluations. By bridging high-volume telephonic monitoring with rigorous ground-level assessments, I ensure that multi-sectoral projects adhere strictly to international standards, donor specifications, and targeted humanitarian outcomes.
Field coordination serves as the operational bridge between remote call center teams, field inspectors, local authorities, implementing partners, and donor agencies. This includes securing movement permits, conducting stakeholder mapping, managing fieldssion logistics, and enforcing strict security protocols to ensure safe deployment. Crucially, call center agents manage the Hotline Feedback and Accountability Mechanism (FAM) to log, categorize, and escalate beneficiary grievances or fraud allegations confidentially. To maintain complete data integrity, all collected information—whether from CAPI tools (KoboToolbox/ODK), geotagged field photos, or recorded phone interviews—undergoes rigorous data triangulation. By comparing contractor completion claims, remote survey findings, and on-site engineering checks, the final monitoring reports deliver fact-based, actionable intelligence that drives accountability and enhances project impact for targeted communitie
